Why visit

Vincenzo is one of the rare dramas whose locations reward a real trip instead of a single photo stop. The show reached number 4 in Netflix’s global TV rankings in May 2021, according to VisitSeoul, and its pull has lasted because the places are ordinary Seoul and Chungju spaces — an electronics arcade, a museum, a sky walkway, a factory-district café, a container mall, a riverside bridge and a lakeside park — that the drama turns into a neighbourhood, a law firm, a night walk and a date. You are not visiting a set. You are walking working streets and public buildings that happen to carry the story.

The contrast is the point. On screen, Geumga Plaza looks worn down and half-abandoned. In person, Sewoon Arcade is a living 1968 arcade: electronics and lighting shops, maker spaces, cafés and restaurants added by urban regeneration, with a retro silhouette that had already put the building in the films Haunters (2010) and The Thieves (2012) before Vincenzo. The Bank of Korea Money Museum gives you a 1912 stone building and a coin collection of about 20,000 pieces. Seoullo 7017 gives you a 17-metre-high garden walkway above the Seoul Station roads, best after dark. And Chungju gives you the quieter half of the story — a suspension bridge between eight river peaks and a historic park by Tangeumho Lake.

A two-day plan

Follow VisitKorea’s order. Day one stays in Seoul: start at Grandpa Factory Café in Seongsu, walk the container shops at Common Ground by Konkuk University, then head to central Seoul for Sewoon Arcade, the Bank of Korea Money Museum and Seoullo 7017 after sunset. Day two is Chungju: the Sujupalbong suspension bridge, then Jungangtap Historic Park by the lake and the Tangeumho Rainbow Road beside it. The Seoul stops split into two clusters — central Seoul and Seongsu / Konkuk University — so group them that way rather than zig-zagging across the city. The Korea Tourism Organization also runs a Vincenzo VR tour program built around missions from Jang Han-seo, per VisitKorea, if you want behind-the-scenes stories before you travel.

What to do at each stop

These are working places, not sets — shops, a museum, a café and public parks with their own hours and rules. Allow the times below, check hours on your travel day, and keep to public areas.

Sewoon Arcade (Geumga Plaza)

Allow 45–90 minutes. Take Line 1 to Jongno 3-ga, Exit 12, about a 4-minute walk. Walking the arcade floors is free; shop hours vary, with VisitKorea listing about 09:00–20:00. Browse the electronics and lighting shops, look for the maker spaces and the cafés and restaurants added by urban regeneration, and remember the upper floors are still active commercial and residential space.

Bank of Korea Money Museum

Allow 45–60 minutes. Take Line 1 or 2 to City Hall, Exit 7, about a 5-minute walk. Entry is free, but VisitKorea says individual visits need a reservation, so book before you go. Hours are Tuesday–Sunday 10:00–17:00, closed Mondays, holidays and December 29–January 2. Inside, expect the 1912 Renaissance-style stone building and a collection of about 20,000 coins. It pairs naturally with nearby Namdaemun Market, Myeong-dong or N Seoul Tower.

Seoullo 7017

Allow 30–45 minutes. Take Line 4 to Hoehyeon, Exit 4 or 5, about a 5-minute walk. The walkway is free and open 24 hours. Go after dark for the lit-up view over the Seoul Station roads. Look for the 17-metre-high trail with more than 24,000 plants and any exhibitions on show.

Grandpa Factory Café

Allow 45–60 minutes. Take Line 2 to Seongsu, Exit 3, about a 5-minute walk. It is a working café and gallery, so order something and expect café prices. VisitKorea lists 11:00–23:00, open all year; check the café’s own site for current hours before you go. Expect local artists’ works on display and food such as pasta, pizza or steak alongside coffee.

Common Ground

Allow 30–60 minutes. Take Line 2 to Konkuk University, Exit 6, about a 2-minute walk. Walking the mall is free; shops and food cost extra. VisitKorea lists 11:00–22:00, open all year. The mall is built from 200 shipping containers and hosts young artisans’ and start-up brand shops, plus weekend markets, exhibitions and food trucks. Do not expect the episode 3 shipping container here — VisitKorea places it at Understand Avenue near Seoul Forest.

Sujupalbong Peaks and Suspension Bridge

Allow 45–90 minutes. From Chungju Bus Terminal, take bus 202-1 to the Togye stop, then walk about 2 minutes. Entry is free. This is an outdoor bridge between two peaks at Durungsan Mountain, 400 metres above sea level, with the eight peaks unfolding along the river and Palbong Village below. The area is also a known campground, so overnight stays are possible. Chungcheong Ilbo’s April 2021 report of the leads’ episode 17 appearance is the second source alongside VisitKorea, so this stop is Confirmed.

Jungangtap Historic Park

Allow 45–60 minutes. From Chungju Bus Terminal, take bus 412 to the Jungangtap stop, then walk about 5 minutes. Entry is free. Walk the open historic park around the Seven-Story Stone Pagoda in Tappyeong-ri, built during the Unified Silla period, with a grass-field and Tangeumho Lake view by day and lighting at night. VisitKorea points visitors to the park’s moon-shaped sculpture as a photo spot. Break News Chungbuk’s finale coverage names the park as the episode 20 backdrop, a second source alongside VisitKorea, so this stop is Confirmed.

Tangeumho Rainbow Road

Allow 30–60 minutes. The floating walkway starts beside Jungangtap Historic Park and connects directly to it, so walk it right after the park. It was built as a relay road for the 2013 World Rowing Championships and is now a public walking and cycling path; VisitKorea says the full loop takes about an hour, with lighting and music along the sections after dark. Break News Chungbuk’s finale report puts the episode 19 tea-and-farewell scene here, and VisitKorea’s Chungju travel feature names it as a Vincenzo filming location, so this stop is Confirmed.

How we checked

Each stop in this guide carries a status. Confirmed means at least two independent sources agree the place appears in Vincenzo; Reported means one source names it and a second is still missing. Four Seoul stops are Confirmed through VisitKorea and VisitSeoul. Common Ground is Confirmed through VisitKorea and Cosmopolitan Philippines. The two Chungju stops were upgraded to Confirmed on Oct 20, 2026, when second sources were found for both: Chungcheong Ilbo’s April 2021 report names Sujupalbong as the episode 17 location, and Break News Chungbuk’s finale coverage names Jungangtap Historic Park as the episode 20 backdrop. A third Chungju stop, the Tangeumho Rainbow Road, was added as Confirmed the same day: Break News Chungbuk’s finale report names its episode 19 scene, and VisitKorea’s Chungju travel feature independently names it as a Vincenzo filming location. Every stop was re-checked against its sources on Oct 20, 2026, and hours and booking rules come from VisitKorea or the venue itself — where hours could not be sourced, the guide says to check the official site rather than guessing.
