Bon Appétit, Your Majesty

Getting there in short: take the train to Cheongpyeong Station, then the Gapyeong tourist circular bus (course B) to the Petite France stop. The circular bus does not run on Wednesdays (it runs if Wednesday is a public holiday). On weekdays the Gyeongchun Line subway is the main way to Cheongpyeong, because ITX-Cheongchun runs only three or four times a day. Details are below.
Getting there (transit)
Fares and schedules change. Timetables below were checked on Sep 26, 2026; confirm on Korail on your travel day.
Seoul → Cheongpyeong (weekdays)
The Gyeongchun Line subway is the main weekday route. Trains between Sangbong and Cheongpyeong run from early morning until around 11 pm in both directions; check Korail or Naver Map for current times.
ITX-Cheongchun runs only a few times on weekdays: 3 trains from Yongsan to Cheongpyeong and 4 back to Yongsan. Departure times vary, so check the current timetable before you go.
Seoul → Cheongpyeong (weekends)
ITX-Cheongchun from Yongsan to Cheongpyeong runs 12 times, and there are 14 trains back to Yongsan. Trains run from morning into the evening; check the current timetable before you go.
Busan → Petite France
Take the KTX from Busan to Seoul Station, then continue on the Seoul route above. Check trains and journey times on Korail’s timetable page.
Cheongpyeong → Petite France
The Gapyeong tourist circular bus stops at the Petite France / Italian Village transfer stop on both courses.
- Course B starts at Cheongpyeong Terminal (first bus in the early morning, 11 runs a day). The last run ends at Cheongpyeong Station in the early evening. Check the current timetable before you go.
- Course A starts at Gapyeong Terminal (first bus in the morning, last in the early evening, 9 runs a day). Check the current timetable before you go.
- Buses come every 45 to 90 minutes on an uneven schedule. Fares are 8,000 KRW for adults and 6,000 KRW for teens and children, paid to the driver. One day ticket covers both courses.
- No service on Wednesdays, unless the Wednesday is a public holiday.
