K-Drama Filming Locations Map of Korea
Korea's drama map is not one city with a few day trips tacked on. Seoul holds most of the named stops, but the KDramaPins guides also send you to a harbor neighborhood in Incheon, a hanok village in Wanju, older east-coast towns, and the Busan bridge featured as an iconic frame. This page is a static index for travelers from the United States and Europe. It covers fifteen region guides, and it pins only cities and neighborhoods the guides actually name.
Each pin carries the place, the drama or film, and a source label. Confirmed means verified by two or more independent sources with different origins. Reported means one official or press source. Fan-spotted means identified by Korean fan researchers by matching scenes, not yet confirmed by official sources. A pin's label comes from the guide's stop-level labels, not the drama page. A missing source is not upgraded. Ulsan is drawn so the southeast coast is not a hole, and it is left out of the guide list because there is no region guide for it. Full definitions: How we verify pins.
Where a rail time is given, it is a range, never a minute and never a fare. Schedules move. Where a KTX or ITX is the practical way out of Seoul, the Korail timetable is linked. On the Honam line the station is Gwangju-Songjeong, not the smaller station inside Gwangju. This page does not name lodging, quote fares, or use stills. Read the region, open the KDramaPins guide, and treat that guide as the check on what is still standing.

Filming spots are confirmed and reported places. Plus 347 fan-spotted places, counted separately. Counts are computed from the same data as the homepage on every build.
Fifteen region guides
Counts come from the region guides linked below, not a new survey. A region's place count includes fan-spotted places; the split shows verified (confirmed + reported) and fan-spotted separately. Rail times, where given, are ranges. Fares are on Korail, not here.
Seoul holds the most named stops. Confirmed stops are Parasite and Squid Game's Ssangmun-dong alley at the market fish shop and convenience store. Bukchon is the iconic hanok lane, with no confirmation tier. Myeongdong, Cheongdam, and Hongdae sit beside Single in Seoul, Crash Landing on You, and Coffee Prince, and are reported. Goblin, Vincenzo, Business Proposal, the wider Squid Game page, and Four Hands, Two Sonatas are on the city too. Four Hands stays fan-spotted.
Subway and bus cover these neighborhoods. No high-speed train is required in the city. From Incheon Airport, the airport railroad or a limousine bus runs to the center. Late March through April, and October into November, are the best walking months. July and August are hot and wet. Winter is cold, dry, and bright. The Seoul region guide is the index behind the pins.

Gyeonggi wraps Seoul, and the guides name three cities. Gapyeong is the day trip for Bon Appetit, Your Majesty: Marie's house at Petite France, with Herald Economy and VisitKorea pointed at the same place, so the pin is confirmed. Suwon and Yongin appear with Business Proposal on a 14-place course. That title is confirmed here, so those pins are confirmed. The region page counts 70 places — 24 verified and 46 fan-spotted.
Gapyeong is a day trip from Seoul by ITX or intercity bus. Check the Korail timetable. Suwon's historic center is on subway Line 1. Yongin is reached by subway and bus. Spring and autumn walk easily. Summer is humid. Winter is fine at the fortress if the wind is down. The Gyeonggi region guide holds the unnamed spots.
3. Suwon

North Gyeongsang is the most-covered region outside the capital: Pohang, Mungyeong, and Gyeongsan. Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is grouped on Pohang, at Gongjin Market in Cheongha and the red lighthouse toward Guryongpo, so the pin is confirmed. The Scandal supplies the rest. The Mungyeong Saejae open set and a Gyeongsan reservoir are reported. Fan-matched hanok notes in that guide are not confirmed. Ulleungdo is drawn with this province and is not its own pin.
Pohang is a KTX ride from Seoul. See the Korail timetable. Gyeongsan sits beside Daegu: KTX toward Dongdaegu, then a short city ride. Mungyeong is usually a long intercity bus ride. October favors the Saejae pass. Late April and May suit the coast. Winter is cold inland. The North Gyeongsang region guide lists the rest.
11. Mungyeong
-
Mungyeong Saejae open set
Drama or film: The Scandal (2026)
Fan-spotted
One of two reported stops, with a reservoir in Gyeongsan. Hanok houses and pavilions in the same guide include fan-matched places and are not marked confirmed.

Drama or film: Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021)

Gongjin Market in Cheongha and the red lighthouse toward Guryongpo are listed for Pohang. Eight places are grouped on Pohang. The guide counts six confirmed stops and two reported stops.

Incheon overlaps two drama pages. Goblin names Baedari, with Jumunjin and Seoul, twelve places in all. The Squid Game series page also spans Seoul and Incheon, eleven places. Both pins are confirmed from their guides. Goblin names Baedari, with Jumunjin and Seoul, twelve places in all. The Squid Game series page also spans Seoul and Incheon, eleven places, separate from the confirmed Ssangmun-dong course. The region page counts 42 places — 16 verified and 26 fan-spotted. Spots that are only a number are not guessed into pins.
You rarely need KTX. Subway Line 1 and the airport railroad reach much of the city from central Seoul. The airport is here, so some trips start in Incheon and ride east. Spring and autumn are the clear months. Summer is hazy and hot on the waterfront. Winter wind off the water is the thing to pack for. The Incheon region guide is the list beyond Baedari.
5. Incheon
-
Incheon, Baedari
Drama or film: Goblin (2016)
Fan-spotted
Baedari is named for Goblin, with Jumunjin and Seoul. Twelve places are grouped. The guides count eight confirmed stops and four reported stops.

Gangwon holds two older titles. Goblin names Jumunjin in Gangneung, and the Jumunjin guide is confirmed. Winter Sonata names Chuncheon, Pyeongchang, and Donghae, seven places, and those pins stay fan-spotted. Goblin names Jumunjin in Gangneung. Winter Sonata names Chuncheon, Pyeongchang, and Donghae, seven places. A Nami Island guide is tied to the Chuncheon course, but no link is given for it here, so it is not linked. The region page counts 19 spots and 13 fan notes.
Gangneung is on the KTX from Seoul Station. Chuncheon is on the ITX. Read the Korail timetable before you lock a morning. Pyeongchang and Donghae usually add a bus. Autumn foliage is the best general window. Winter suits Pyeongchang if you want snow. The east-coast summer is cooler than Seoul and still busy. The Gangwon region guide covers spots beyond these cities.
7. Chuncheon
-
Chuncheon
Drama or film: Winter Sonata (2002)
Fan-spotted
Listed with Pyeongchang and Donghae, seven places. A Nami Island guide is tied to the Chuncheon course, but no link is given for it here, so it is not linked.

South Chungcheong has a region guide and no named city. The page counts 23 places — 10 verified and 13 fan-spotted. Because no place is named with a source, this map does not drop a pin and does not invent a drama title. Use the region guide as the list. A forum recognition stays fan-spotted until that guide says otherwise. Daejeon and Sejong are separate pages, even when a bus ties the towns together.
From Seoul, KTX toward Cheonan-Asan or Daejeon, then a local bus. West-coast towns take longer. Check the Korail timetable for the rail portion. Late April through early June, and October, are the comfortable months. Midsummer is hot and sticky. Winter is quieter and colder. Start with the South Chungcheong region guide.
No city pin. No place or drama is named here for South Chungcheong.
South Gyeongsang has no named city pin. The region guide counts 22 places — 9 verified and 13 fan-spotted. No drama title is attached to it here, so none is added. Busan's Gwangan Bridge is a different region page, even where the metro area feels continuous. A series remembered from elsewhere would be a false pin.
Smaller towns are reached by KTX south, then a bus. Some coastal trips add a bus leg after the high-speed station. Use the Korail timetable for the train. Do not pair a Busan evening with a deep inland village on the same arrival day. Spring and autumn are the sane seasons. Summer is humid and rainy as well as beach weather. The South Gyeongsang region guide holds the nine spots.
No city pin. No place or drama is named here for South Gyeongsang.
Busan's named subject is Gwangan Bridge, filed as an iconic cut rather than a confirmed or reported stop, so the pin is fan-spotted. No series title is attached to that cut, and none is invented. The region page counts 28 places — 25 verified and 3 fan-spotted. The other spots are not named here, so they are not guessed.
KTX from Seoul Station is about 2 hr 20 min–3 hr 30 min depending on the train. That is a range, not a fare. Minutes and fares are on the Korail timetable. Subway and bus do the last leg to the bridge. Late spring through June, and September into early November, are the best walking months. August is hot and crowded by the sea. Winter is milder than Seoul and windy on the bridges. The Busan region guide indexes the unnamed spots.
Jeonbuk's named stop is Wanju, for Perfect Crown. Inside Oseong Hanok Village, the relocated 250-year-old hanok called Awol is confirmed, and the Soyang historic house, Yeoiru, is reported. The pin is labeled confirmed because of Awol. The reported house is a separate check. The region page counts 14 spots and 2 fan notes. Other spots are not named here, so they get no pin and no invented title.
The practical railhead is the Jeonju area. KTX from Seoul, then a bus or taxi to Wanju. Confirm the connection on the Korail timetable. The village is not at the station door. Spring and autumn show the roofs best. Summer heat in the basin is serious. Winter is cold and quiet. Read the Jeonbuk region guide before you plan extra stops.
14. Wanju
-
Wanju, Oseong Hanok Village
Drama or film: Perfect Crown (2026)
Fan-spotted
The relocated 250-year-old hanok, Awol, is marked confirmed. The Soyang historic house, Yeoiru, is reported only. Do not treat the two houses as the same check.
Open the KDramaPins guide for Wanju, Oseong Hanok Village
Jeonnam and Gwangju share one region page. It counts 24 places — 10 verified and 14 fan-spotted and names no city, drama, or street. There is no pin. Both shapes on the map point at that same guide. The city and the province stay one article because there is only one guide URL.
If you come by train from Seoul, the station is Gwangju-Songjeong. That is the Honam KTX stop, not the smaller station inside the city. The ride from Yongsan is about 1 hr 40 min–3 hr 20 min, then subway or bus. Check the Korail timetable for the rail leg only. Islands and the far south coast take longer once a ferry is involved. Spring and autumn are the reliable months. Summer brings heat and heavy rain. Open the Jeonnam-Gwangju region guide before you pick a town.
No city pin. No place or drama is named here for Jeonnam-Gwangju.
North Chungcheong's named city is Chungju, grouped with Seoul on the Vincenzo page: eight places. The Sewoon guide counts eight confirmed stops, so the pin is confirmed. Sewoon Sangga in Seoul is said to have its own guide. The only Vincenzo link given here is the drama page, so no second link is invented. The region page counts 10 spots and 3 fan notes. The unnamed spots are not filled in from memory.
Chungju is not a KTX city. The usual ride is an intercity bus. The Korail timetable covers a train leg if you use one. It will not invent a high-speed station. October color is the reason to go. Spring is the other good window. Summer is hot, and winter is a real freeze. The North Chungcheong region guide lists the spots besides Chungju.
Jeju's page counts 19 places and no fan notes. No drama, beach, or oreum is named here, so this map does not pin one and does not borrow a series from memory. The island is drawn below the southern coast. A missing pin is the accurate drawing.
From Seoul the usual path is a flight from Gimpo, plus airport time. Ferries take much longer. There is no KTX to Jeju, so the Korail timetable is the wrong tool for this leg. Spring and autumn are the calm walking seasons. Summer can bring heavy rain and typhoons, so leave slack. Winter is milder than the mainland and windy. The Jeju region guide names the 11 spots this page will not guess.
No city pin. No place or drama is named here for Jeju.
Daegu's region page counts 15 places — 10 verified and 5 fan-spotted. No drama or neighborhood is named here, so there is no pin. Gyeongsan, next door, is under North Gyeongsang with The Scandal's reported reservoir. Do not merge that stop into Daegu because the cities share a transit line.
KTX from Seoul. Confirm which station your ticket uses on the Korail timetable. Buses and the subway cover the last stretch. Late March through April, and October, are the best months on foot. Summer in the basin is among the hottest in the country. Winter is cold and dry. If the nearby named stop is Gyeongsan, read North Gyeongsang first. The Daegu region guide is the Daegu list.
No city pin. No place or drama is named here for Daegu.
Daejeon is a rail hub more than a named filming city here. The region page counts 1 indexed spot and 1 fan note. Neither is named, and no drama is given, so the map invents nothing. The city is still a useful transfer between South Chungcheong buses and the lines toward Jeolla and the southeast.
KTX from Seoul. Check the Korail timetable on the day. The station and the older downtown are not the same place, so leave time for a subway or bus. Spring and autumn are the pleasant months. Summer is hot inland. Winter is cold, with less snow than Gangwon. One unnamed spot is a page to open on the train, not a tour. That page is the Daejeon region guide.
No city pin. No place or drama is named here for Daejeon.
Sejong is the smallest of the fifteen. It counts 1 indexed spot and no fan notes, and names neither the spot nor a drama. There is no pin. The city sits on the Geum River between Daejeon and the Cheonan corridor, which is why people pass it without a filming list. A title borrowed from another province would be a false pin.
From Seoul, KTX to Osong, then a short bus, or a direct intercity bus. Confirm the rail leg on the Korail timetable. There is no high-speed station in the middle of the government complex. Spring and autumn are the useful months. Summer is hot along the river. Winter is cold and quiet. Open the Sejong region guide before you detour.
No city pin. No place or drama is named here for Sejong.
