About this page

Fly High Butterfly (날아올라라 나비; the English title is our translation) is a JTBC Saturday–Sunday drama that began airing on Sep 19, 2026 (JTBC; The Fact; Sports Kyunghyang). It is written by Park Yeon-seon (Sports Kyunghyang; The Fact) and follows hair designers and interns at a salon that shares the show’s Korean name (Gukje News; The Fact). Press reports say filming finished in 2021 and the broadcast was then postponed (The Fact), so some places may have changed since filming. The 16-episode production was re-edited to 10 episodes for the domestic broadcast (Topstarnews; Wikitree).

Every place above is fan-spotted: Korean fan researchers matched it to scenes, but no official or press source has named it yet. We say only that each place appears in the drama. We could not find any press report that names where the main salon set is.

For shops, cafés and restaurants we don’t list hours or prices; check their official pages.

Neighborhood Seoul

Most places are small neighborhood businesses in Mapo-gu (Mangwon, Hapjeong and the Seongmisan area), plus stops in Sinchon, around Sookmyung Women’s University and Huam-dong in Yongsan, around Hoegi in Dongdaemun, and one in Geomdan, Incheon. Where a card names a subway station, it comes from the fan list and is not verified against an official page; check the route on Naver Map (English UI).

Fan researchers also point to street scenes near Seongmisan (a bus stop and a crossing on Seongmisan-ro), Seongsan-ro 22-gil in Sinchon, Yeouido Station, the Namsan pedestrian overpass in Namchang-dong, Sajik-ro 2-gil and Samcheong-ro, plus World Cup-buk-ro 58-gil and Tojeong-ro in Mapo, a bus stop by Seokyeong University, and Jungbu-daero and Seogot-ro in Incheon. We don’t give exact spots for streets, crossings, bridges or stops.
