West coast
Bbulsora Park (Horn Conch Park) (뿔소라공원) in Sindo-ri, Daejeong-eup, is the seaside park where Yong-pil stops hiding his feelings for Sam-dal. ELLE Korea places the scene in episode 10, at the park’s observation point, and Korea JoongAng Daily names the park near the Sindopo area at the far western end of the island, so it is confirmed. Both give the same address: 3125-5 Sindo-ri.
The park is known for its wide sea view and sunsets, and Korea JoongAng Daily adds that with luck you may see pods of dolphins offshore, which are not unusual in the waters around Daejeong-eup. It is free, as a public park. Allow 30–45 minutes, and time it for sunset.
East coast
The Secret Forest (비밀의숲) in Songdang-ri, Gujwa-eup, is where Sam-dal, tired of tourist hot spots, heads for a natural forest of grassland and cypress at the foot of Andol Oreum. Its cypress trail is where she photographs a couple about to marry. One source names it — Korea JoongAng Daily — so it is reported. Tour operators also include it in Samdal-ri routes, but they do not count toward our label.
This is a private business. Korea JoongAng Daily reported in January 2024 that the forest had operated since 2020, charged an entry fee at a turquoise camper-truck ticket booth that took cash or local bank transfer only, and opened 9:00–17:30. A spokesperson told the paper that daily visitors jumped to about 300 after the drama aired. These details are from early 2024; check the forest’s own channel before you go. Allow 45–60 minutes. Published sources disagree on the lot number (2170 vs 2173), so search by the Korean name 비밀의숲 (송당리) rather than typing a lot number.
Ojo-ri and Ojo Port (오조포구) in Seongsan-eup is a small fishing village about 2 km north of Seongsan Ilchulbong, with a direct view of the peak across the water. Telltrip reports that it became known as a main backdrop of the drama, with basalt stone walls along its lanes and a wooden bridge linking the village to the harbor. The village name means “the sun shines on me first” when it rises over the peak. One source names the village, so it is reported. Fan blogs point to a small village shop as the drama’s convenience store, but we have not found a published source that pins it, so we do not list it.
This is a lived-in village. Keep to public lanes and the harbor path, and do not photograph homes or people without asking. Allow 30–60 minutes, and combine it with Seongsan Ilchulbong.
How the three fit together
Jeju is bigger than it looks. Bbulsora Park is on the far west coast, the Secret Forest is inland in the northeast, and Ojo-ri is on the east coast next to Seongsan. Treat them as two days, or as one long day by car:
- East day: Secret Forest in the morning → Ojo-ri and Seongsan Ilchulbong in the afternoon.
- West day: Bbulsora Park at sunset, after the west coast.
When to go
Winter is the drama’s own season — it aired from December to January — and the Secret Forest was quiet in winter until the drama brought visitors. For Bbulsora Park, plan for sunset. In Ojo-ri, the harbor view of Seongsan Ilchulbong is the point, so a clear day matters more than the season.
Getting there
A car makes these three practical in a day or two. By bus, all three are reachable, but routes and frequencies vary and the Secret Forest is away from main roads. We do not publish bus numbers without an official, dated source; use Kakao Map with the Korean names — 뿔소라공원, 비밀의숲 (송당리), 오조포구 — for the current route.

How we checked
A spot is confirmed when two independent sources name it as a filming location; it is reported when only one source names it so far. Bbulsora Park is confirmed: Korea JoongAng Daily and ELLE Korea both name it, with the same address. The Secret Forest is reported: Korea JoongAng Daily alone names it so far, and its operating details are from January 2024. Ojo-ri is reported: Telltrip alone names it so far. The sisters’ house is a lived-in private home and is not listed anywhere in this guide. No drama stills are used anywhere in this guide.
Photos: No checked CC photo was secured for any of the three stops, so this guide is photo-free for now. The Korea JoongAng Daily article’s photos are provided stills and were not used.
