About this place

Hwahongmun is a watergate on Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon, with seven stone arches. VisitKorea and the Korea Herald both point to the bridge in front of it as the place where Sun-jae (Byeon Woo-seok) confesses to Sol (Kim Hye-yoon) in Lovely Runner. The watergate area is free to view from outside, and VisitKorea notes its night lighting is a favorite for photos.
