Jang Hoon's 2017 film about Man-seop, a Seoul taxi driver who drives German journalist Peter into Gwangju in May 1980 and witnesses the pro-democracy uprising. Two of its real filming places are verified here by two independent original sources each; the film's Geumnam-ro street scenes were recreated, not shot on the real street, and are explained rather than listed as a stop.

A Taxi Driver in Gwangju and Boryeong: 2 Spots (2 Confirmed)
Former Gwangju Red Cross Hospital (Seonam University Hospital)
Director Jang Hoon told Cine21 that the hospital scenes were shot at Seonam University Hospital in Gwangju, the building where those who died in May 1980 had been kept, and which was then closed and under discussion for future use. Xports News independently identifies the film's Gwangju hospital as Seonam Hospital in Bullo-dong, formerly the Gwangju Red Cross Hospital, and notes that the wounded, including the character Jae-sik, are brought there in the film, and that Man-seop first meets Gwangju's taxi drivers at the hospital's back gate.

Cheongso Station area
The Cheongso Station area in Boryeong is named by two independent original press sources as a filming place for A Taxi Driver. The claim covers the station area, not a single building, and claims no specific scene beyond what the cited sources state.
